Northwest Missouri State steamrolled Lindenwood in the second round of the NCAA Division 2 Playoffs Saturday afternoon en route to a 63-7 win.

The Bearcats (12-1) rushed for a postseason program record 413 yards in the win. Of Northwest's nine touchdowns, only one – a 23-yard interception return by Blake Bayer – wasn't a rushing score.

Isaiah Strayhorn ran for 178 yards and two touchdowns, Braden Wright picked up 116 yards and three scores on the ground, and Justin Rankin added 73 yards and two touchdowns.

Defensively, the Lions were limited to 205 total yards in the game. Quarterback Cade Brister threw four interceptions and was sacked twice in the game.

Bayer came away with three interceptions and defensive lineman Noah Williams came away with the fourth.

Northwest advances to face Ferris State in the Super Region 3 Championship December 7. The winner will play in the national semifinal game December 14.
